<div> The Museum of the History of Science is seeking to appoint a Part-time Web Officer (18.25 hours/50% FTE) principally to maintain and manage the Museum&#8217;s servers and websites; design and mount online versions of special exhibitions; and enhance web access to the collections database.<br><br>This is an ideal post for a flexible and knowledgeable IT Professional, who has solid experience of systems administration and Web Design, to develop the Museum&#8217;s on-line presence and ensure efficient running of IT Support systems. You will be an excellent communicator and a good team-worker also able to work well independently of others.<br><br>This post is fixed-term with an end date of 31 March 2015 and is funded by the Renaissance programme of Arts Council England on behalf of the Department of Culture, Media and Sport.<br><br>The post will be based at the Museum on Broad Street and reports to the Museum Director.<br><br>Only applications received before 12:00 midday on 19 July 2012 can be considered.
