You will lead the administrative operations of the Humanities, one of the four academic divisions of the University. As a senior officer in the University’s central administration, you will play a key role in the management of the Division, taking a creative and proactive approach in support of the work of the Head of Division (Professor Shearer West) in providing academic leadership and contributing more broadly to the University’s work.<br><br>We are seeking a first-rate administrator, ideally with experience of higher education, with an outstanding record of organisational and resource management, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with academic colleagues and senior officers in shaping policy and strategy. Strong communication, management and leadership skills are essential. <br><br>This full-time post offers an excellent opportunity for career development in a stimulating and challenging environment.<br><br>A competitive salary will be set according to skills and experience (likely to be circa £65 - £70k p.a.).<br><br>Only applications received before midday on Wednesday 12 September 2012 can be considered.
