Lecture List and Events Assistant

This role is to co-ordinate the production of the Faculty’s termly lecture
list and to manage the room booking system which is integral to this. The
postholder will also be responsible for co-ordinating bookings for external
events (both internal and external to the University), for assisting with
Faculty-run academic conferences and assisting with the Faculty’s alumni
newsletter. The role involves close liaison with the Faculty’s premises and
finance teams.

Applicants should have a good standard of education (to 'A' level standard or
equivalent), experience of administrative tasks in an office environment and
some experience of events administration. They should have a professional,
helpful and flexible manner with an ability to remain calm under pressure, and
strong numerical/IT skills.
