We are seeking to appoint a Saturday Invigilator to staff Central Bodleian Library Reading Rooms from 10.00 am - 4.00 pm (six hours). You will be required to work one Saturday in four, which is 0.04 FTE (full time equivalent).<br><br>You will undertake a range of library duties including issuing/returning books held at the reserve, general circulation activities, dealing with book supply problems, shelving, answering readers’ queries, upholding copyright regulations, invigilation, helping with deliveries if required, and ensuring safe evacuation of the reading room. <br><br>You should have a good general education, be reliable and punctual, be able to undertake routine tasks with accuracy, possess excellent IT skills, and have a strong customer focus. Previous experience in libraries and familiarity with library databases is desirable.<br><br>Only applications received before midday on Monday 12 November 2012 can be considered. Interviews are anticipated to be held in the week commencing 19 November 2012. <br>Applications for this vacancy are to be made online.
