Part-time Receptionist and Directorate Administrator (mornings)

The Bodleian Libraries’ Directorate was established in 1997. Its role is to
advise and support Bodley's Librarian in the existing areas of her University-
wide remit, and to facilitate a more integrated approach to library and
information service provision across the University.

You will be responsible for representing the Bodleian Libraries and being the
first point of contact in the Clarendon Building, either by phone or face-to-
face, to all visitors which will include VIPs to the University and to the
Libraries. You will be required to respond to requests for basic information
from members of the public and referring more complex requests to the
appropriate member of staff and provide general administrative support for the
Directorate office.

You will have previous secretarial or reception and administrative experience.
You will also have knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel along with good
organisation skills and the ability to relate to a wide range of people.
Attention to detail is essential in this post and you must also have proven
experience in touch typing.

This post is a part-time position working 20.25 hours, 5 mornings a week.
