Part-Time Term-Time Only Shelver.

The Taylor Institution Library is seeking a new recruit to its book-shelving
team (6 hrs per week in term, weeks 0-8: 27 weeks p.a.). The post involves
sorting and transporting books to the relevant floors of the Teaching
Collection, replacing them in correct order on the shelves and assistance with
occasional book moves and stock checks. Candidates should have basic numeracy,
be able to lift and carry books, and have an interest in working in an
academic library. Knowledge of one or more west European language would be
desirable. Full training in the library’s classification systems will be
given.

Only applications received before midday on Thursday 22 November 2012 can be
considered. Interviews will be held on Friday 30 November 2012. You will be
