Integration Manager

<div> In collaboration with University Administration &amp; Services (UAS), IT Services is in the process of delivering a strategic programme of business system development projects. Underpinning this has been the implementation of a middleware platform to improve the integration capabilities for all applications. This project is now coming to a close and there is a requirement for an experienced Integration Manager/Business Architect, reporting to the Director of Software Solutions and initially for a 12 month period, to take forward further development and oversee the specification of all interfaces for all projects.<br><br>You will provide a focal point for the specification and delivery of a large number of interfaces to facilitate the seamless and successful operation of business processes that span across different University systems and services as well as planning integration work at the business level and managing a team of business analysts in the development of functional specifications.<br><br>You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, with significant business and IT systems architecture and project management experience, ideally gained in a public sector/HE environment. You will have experience in the full lifecycle of development including design, build, test and deployment and a strong understanding of SOA principles, specifically in relation to integration.<br><br>The post is available for 12 months in the first instance.<br><br>Applications should be submitted electronically before 12.00 noon on the deadline of 9 January 2013.
