Part-time Web Developer

The Faculty is seeking to appoint a Part-time Web Developer (0.2 FTE) to be
responsible for the design, maintenance and development of the website for
Professor Watanabe-O'Kelly's 3-year project "Marrying Cultures: Queens Consort
and European identities, 1500-1800" which is funded by Humanities in the
European Research Area (HERA). There may be further scope to extend your hours
of work to take on further projects either within the Faculty of Medieval and
Modern Languages or within the Faculty of Linguistics, Phonetics and Philology
as funding becomes available.

We need someone who is flexible and creative, with very strong technical and
design skills. You should have already worked extensively in a CMS development
environment (development here is currently done under Drupal 6/7). You should
have the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently, and have
excellent communication skills.

The post provides an excellent opportunity to apply and extend your existing
web design and technical/programming skills within the context of a large and
varied University department. The postholder will be encouraged to take
advantage of the extensive IT training and personal development opportunities
available through the University's Computing Services and Staff Development
Unit.
