We are looking to appoint 2 or 3 Evening Invigilators, each working 5.00 pm – 7.00 pm on one weekday evening throughout the year (it may be possible to work two evenings per week).<br><br>The Bodleian Library Reader Services Department has responsibility for the main Humanities Reading Rooms and services in the historic Old Bodleian and Radcliffe Camera, as well as the more recently developed Gladstone Link.<br><br>You will undertake a range of library duties including issuing/returning items, dealing with book supply/circulation queries, answering readers’ questions, invigilation, book replacing, supporting the book delivery process if necessary and ensuring safe evacuation of the reading room. <br><br>You will have a good general education, be reliable and punctual, be able to undertake routine tasks with accuracy, possess good IT skills and have a strong customer focus.<br><br>Applications are to be made online. You will be required to upload a supporting statement as part of your online application.<br><br>Only applications received before 12.00 midday on Thursday 28 November 2013 can be considered. Interviews are anticipated to be held during w/c 16 December 2013.
