We are looking to appoint two part-time Sunday Invigilators, term-time only,
to work 6 hours per day, nine Sundays per term, three terms per year.
The Bodleian Library Reader Services Department has responsibility for the
main Humanities Reading Rooms and services in the historic Old Bodleian and
Radcliffe Camera, as well as the more recently developed Gladstone Link.
You will undertake a range of library duties including issuing/returning
items, dealing with book supply/circulation queries, answering readers’
questions, invigilation, book replacing, supporting the book delivery process
if necessary and ensuring safe evacuation of the reading room.
You will have a good general education, be reliable and punctual, be able to
undertake routine tasks with accuracy, possess good IT skills and have a
strong customer focus.
