Part-time Skills Training Evaluation Officer

The Humanities and Social Sciences Divisions are seeking an experienced and
highly organised person to be responsible for a project evaluating the impact
of skills training for graduate students and researchers. Together, the two
divisions encompass more than 20 departments and faculties.
The role will involve close co-operation with the Humanities Training Officer
and the Graduate Training Coordinator in the Social Sciences Division. In
addition to the planning and completion of the evaluation project, the work
will involve developing a durable methodology for future evaluation of
training provision, working with faculties and departments in order to do so.
This is a part-time post (0.6 FTE) available for a fixed-term of 1 year.
The successful candidate will have broad knowledge, and familiarity with the
use, of qualitative and quantitative research methods. Strong IT skills,
excellent communication skills, and proven ability to analyse and present
statistical data and reports, are essential. As the data will often be of a
confidential nature, the ability to demonstrate tact and judgment when dealing
with sensitive material is a must.
