Part-time Project Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced administrator, preferably with a background
in higher education office support and specific experience with large-scale
projects, to provide dedicated support to a major research project, which is
funded by the European Research Council for 5 years: The 15th-century Book
Trade: An Evidence-based Assessment and Visualization of the Distribution,
Sale, and Reception of Books in the Renaissance, led by Dr Cristina Dondi.

The person appointed will play a key role in ensuring the success and smooth
running of the project. The postholder will be expected to work closely with
the PI, her team of three postdoctoral researchers (based in Oxford, the
British Library, and St Petersburg's National Library), and one Oxford DPhil
student, the IT developers and engineers from the University of Oxford,
Göttingen, and Liverpool, and the range of international visitors and
collaborators who will be involved with the project. S/he will be responsible
for the financial administration of the project in liaison with the Faculty's
finance administrator and the European Research Council; for preparing reports
in consultation with the PI; and for supporting the PI in a range of
activities related to the successful management of the project, including
liaising with libraries worldwide, planning and organising events, and
communication.

This is a part-time (45%FTE) fixed-term contract available from 1 April 2014
up to 31 March 2019. The successful candidate is expected to take up the
position on 1 April 2014 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on Friday 28 February 2014.
Interviews will take place during the week starting 10 March 2014.
