Postdoctoral Researcher in ERC-funded 15cBOOKTRADE project

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> This post has been created as part of the ERC-funded, international project 15cBOOKTRADE, directed by Dr Cristina Dondi. This is a full-time post for 4 years and the postholder will be based in the British Library. The project team will consist of the PI, the project administrator, three postdoctoral researchers (based in Oxford, the British Library, and Venice), and one Oxford doctoral student. <br><br>Responsibilities include entering provenance records of incunabula into the MEI database, as well as enhancing the ISTC database. The researcher will also contribute original research toward the preparation of an in-depth monograph co-authored by the PI and the other project researchers.<br><br>Applicants must have completed doctoral degree. Excellent organisational skills and experience in the analysis of the contents of books from the Classical to the Renaissance period are the most important aspects of this research position, as well as fluency in written and spoken English, another European language, and good knowledge of Latin. Familiarity with IT and the digital humanities would be an advantage.<br><br>The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on 5 June 2014. Interviews are planned for 23 - 24 June 2014.<br></div>
