Part-time Research Associate in the 15th-Century Book Trade

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> This post is open to graduate students who will be enrolled on a DPhil course at the University in association with Lincoln College. The post provides varied and exciting practical experience in the research profession. Comprehensive training is provided and regular review meetings will be held to support the trainee&#8217;s progress. The postholder will be required to support the principal investigator and to learn processes as directed. Postholders are encouraged to take an interest in all project/research related matters and will report to and work under the supervision of Dr Dondi. The successful candidate would be expected to pay their own fees, both college and University. <br><br>This post has been created as part of an international project entitled &#8220;The 15th-century Book Trade: An Evidence-based Assessment and Visualisation of the Distribution, Sale, and Reception of Books in the Renaissance&#8221; and is funded by the European Research Council and directed by Dr Cristina Dondi. The project team will consist of the PI, the project administrator, three postdoctoral researchers (based in Oxford, the British Library, and Venice), and one Oxford DPhil student. The team will work very closely with IT units at the Bodleian Library, the University of G&#246;ttingen, Germany, and the University of Liverpool, and with visual engineers of the University of Oxford. The team will also work closely with several European and American libraries.<br><br>The application process is via the University&#8217;s online recruitment system.<br><br>The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on 5 June 2014. </div>
