We offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager to lead the
administration and non-academic management of a busy faculty, based in central
Oxford. It is the largest faculty of Theology and Religion in the UK, with 300
undergraduates and more than 200 postgraduate students.

This is a full-time, permanent post available from 1 September 2014.

The Head of Administration is responsible for the effective and efficient day-
to-day operation of the faculty, leading a team of six administrative staff.
Adept at strategic planning, you will work closely with the faculty’s academic
staff and liaise regularly with administrators, research facilitators, and
finance staff within the Humanities Divisional Office.

You will have administrative experience within higher/further education, a
public sector environment or other large, complex organisation, including
experience of personnel management, financial management, and committee
servicing. You will have strong organisational skills together with the
ability to prioritise and delegate appropriately. You will be an accomplished
communicator with effective interpersonal skills, able to work with and
inspire confidence in a wide range of people across the University.
