Recruitment Team Leader

An opportunity for an experienced HR professional to oversee the recruitment
function for the Bodleian Libraries Personnel team, from the approval process
to induction. You will also provide line management and training for the two
HR administrators in the team, and support good HR practice in all areas
through procedures, management information and HR database support.

You will have significant experience of working in a recruitment department,
with the ability to work in a busy, often pressurised environment where
planning, prioritisation and organisation skills are essential.

Proven IT skills along with excellent interpersonal and customer handling
skills are also required and you will have your CIPD intermediate level
qualification or a degree in a relevant subject. You will also have experience
of using a HR database, knowledge of work permit procedures as well as the
ability to advise and guide managers through HR procedures including senior
recruitments.

You will be expected to work flexibly and collaboratively within the HR
Administrative team, and this may involve providing support to the Personnel
Specialist as well as the other HR administrators.

Due to the nature of this post, candidates will be required to undertake a
Disclosure Scotland check as well as a financial background check. The
possession of a criminal record or poor financial background will not
necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are
judged individually according to the nature of the role and information
provided.
