<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> A part-time, early-morning receptionist is required to join a team of reception desk and security staff in the University Department of Pharmacology. <br><br>The early-morning receptionist will cover the period from 6.15 am to 8.00 am, Monday to Friday (except bank holidays and departmental fixed closure). <br><br>The postholder needs to be able to understand all of the Department's Security Procedures and to provide a friendly and helpful front-of-house service.<br><br>Applicant should demonstrate:<br>- experience of working in a reception/security or customer service role<br>- proven ability to deal with visitors and members of the Department, both in person and on the telephone <br>- ability to work independently and also to know when to refer to others<br>- excellent timekeeping, proven reliability and a flexible approach to managing unpredictable workloads.<br>- educated to GCSE level or equivalent.<br><br>The post is part-time - 8.75 hours per week or 0.24 FTE.<br><br>The deadline for applications is 12.00 noon on Wednesday 17 September 2014. </div>
