<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> The Bodleian libraries are seeking to recruit two Invigilators to work at the Leopold Muller Library on evening and weekends.<br><br>The Leopold Muller Library serves the needs of students and academics working on Hebrew and Jewish Studies. It comprises works in Hebrew, Yiddish and Western European languages, with an emphasis on Hebrew and Yiddish literature, Jewish history, bibliography and Rabbinics.<br><br>These posts require flexible, approachable and reliable individuals to invigilate the library and reading room after normal library staff leave at 5.00 pm and on Saturdays. You will play a proactive part in the delivery of a high quality information service supporting the research and teaching activity of the University of Oxford in the field of Hebrew and Jewish studies. <br><br>You will have the ability to communicate with a wide range of staff, have a flexible and positive approach to work and possess excellent IT skills. Knowledge of Hebrew is desirable.<br><br>These are permanent posts working on a paid as claimed basis during term-time only, an average of 9.5 hours per week each.<br><br>You will be required to upload a supporting statement as part of your online application. Your supporting statement should list each of the essential and desirable selection criteria, as listed in the job description, and explain how you meet each one. CVs will not form part of the selection process.<br><br>Only applications received online before 12.00 midday on Wednesday 5 November 2014 can be considered. Interviews are expected to take place during week commencing 10 November 2014.<br></div>
