THIS POST MAY ALSO BE OFFERED AS A SECONDMENT OPPORTUNITY.<br><br>The Humanities Divisional Office is seeking to appoint a Divisional Assistant Accountant (Research) for a fixed-term to 31 December 2015. The successful applicant will join the divisional finance team to assume a leading role in the effective financial management of the division's growing research grant portfolio. You will undertake an audit of current financial grant management practices across the division and will be pivotal in providing faculties and other Humanities units with ongoing support in standardising these practices. You will also serve as the divisional finance lead on key awards, including the more complex collaborative and EU grants, and will advise the division on financial matters associated with research grants.<br><br>You will have extensive financial accounting experience, including an appropriate qualification, proven analytical skills, alongside excellent IT skills.
