Senior Development Executive - Humanities

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career as part of the
country’s most successful higher education fundraising team, and contribute to
its current campaign – the largest and most ambitious in Europe, which has a
minimum goal of £3bn. The role is fixed-term for 3 years.

As Senior Development Executive, you will deliver philanthropic support for
the University of Oxford’s Humanities Division, which is consistently ranked
as world-leading for the quality of its teaching and research. Your work will
contribute directly to Oxford Humanities’ strategic priorities, including the
endowment of key academic posts, student support, and the development of new
facilities for teaching and research.

To be successful in this role you will be an experienced development
professional with a strong track record in securing major gifts, with a
confident approach to achieving ambitious income targets. You possess
diplomacy, creativity and outstanding communication skills, as well as the
ability to operate comfortably in a large, complex institution with multiple
stakeholders. You have the credibility and confidence to influence at the
highest level, and a collaborative and flexible working style is essential. A
graduate or equivalent with an interest in education and the arts, you have
the ability to engage others in Oxford’s goals, and you are comfortable
working both independently and as part of a team.
