<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> The Museum of the History of Science (MHS) is undertaking a project centred on the life and work of the English physicist Henry Moseley (1887 - 1915). Supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Harry&#8217;s Story: A Scientist Lost to War will conserve apparatus and archival material in the MHS collections, create a special loan exhibition over the summer of 2015 along with a subsequent permanent redisplay, and also deliver a broad programme of public events, education work, and digital resources. <br><br>The museum is seeking a co-curator/researcher for Harry&#8217;s Story. The postholder will have a key role in the development of the project, working closely with museum staff and volunteers to deliver the project outcomes, and liaising between MHS and its project partners. The postholder will co-curate the special loan exhibition and permanent redisplay, researching and interpreting materials and writing content to appear in print and online. The postholder will also deliver events in the public programme and assist with project administration.<br><br>The successful candidate will have a strong background in both museums and the history of science and technology. The postholder will be particularly responsible for integrating the project with World War One military history, and should ideally have expertise in the history of early 20th-century science and technology.<br><br>The role is full-time and fixed-term for 9 months from February to October 2015.<br><br>The deadline for applications is 12.00 noon on Friday 6 February 2015 and interviews will be held on Friday 13 February 2015.<br></div>
