Applications are invited for a full-time Research Facilitator post available
from 13 April 2015 (temporary maternity cover post). Humanities Research
Facilitators act as first point of contact for all external funding
applications, working with researchers from early career and postdoctoral
fellows to senior faculty and professors. The postholder will contribute fully
to the ongoing development of the division’s support for colleagues’ research,
focusing on developing the highest quality external funding applications. This
is an exciting opportunity to develop a career in higher education
administration and be involved with researchers at the cutting edge of their
fields of study.

You will be educated beyond first degree level, preferably to doctoral level,
and have experience of research or administration in a higher education
environment. You will have excellent communication skills that will enable you
to build trust with all colleagues, an understanding of research in the
humanities, combined with excellent administrative abilities, and a capacity
to prioritise complex and competing demands in a rewarding working
environment.

This is a full-time maternity cover post available for 9 months, or until the
return of the substantive postholder, whichever is the earlier date.

You will be required to upload a CV and supporting statement as part of your
application.

The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on Monday 2 February 2015.
Interviews are expected to be held in mid-February 2015.
