THIS POST MAY ALSO BE OFFERED AS A SECONDMENT OPPORTUNITY.<br><br>We are looking for a numerate and highly organised HR Advisor to join our busy Personnel administrative section. Working closely with other members of the Personnel team, the main focus of the role is to interpret and analyse Excel data to provide key management information to managers and staff using our Human Resources Information System (HRIS). <br><br>It is essential that you have the ability to plan, are customer service focused and able to use your initiative. You will also have the ability to work accurately with high attention to detail, to carry out sensitive personnel related tasks and to be proactive in solving problems. You will have excellent IT, Excel and database skills, a proven ability to understand, interpret and apply complex policies and procedures, and either have or be working towards a CIPD qualification.<br><br>This is a fixed-term post to cover a period of maternity leave, and is expected to be for a period of 9 months from the end of June 2015. You must have your Line Manager's agreement that you can be released for a secondment before you submit an application.<br><br>Due to the nature of this post, candidates will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check as well as a financial background check. The possession of a criminal record or poor financial background will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and the information provided.<br><br>You will be required to upload a supporting statement as part of your online application. Your supporting statement should list each of the essential and desirable criteria, a listed in the further particulars, and explain how you meet each one. CVs will not form part of the selection process. <br><br>Only applications received before 12.00 midday on Monday 13 April 2015 can be considered.
