<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p>We are seeking three self-motivated and reliable individuals to provide essential support during term-time to the team at the English Faculty Library, one of the largest and busiest of the Humanities lending libraries in Oxford.</p> <p>Your duties will include sorting and shelving returned books, shelf-tidying, assisting readers and associated library duties. You will be able to undertake routine library tasks with care and precision. Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to push trolleys and to move and carry books is essential. Familiarity with the subject area and previous experience of working in academic libraries are desirable.</p> <p>These are variable hours, paid as claimed, term-time posts (0th - 9th weeks). It is anticipated that you will work Monday to Friday, either 5 hours per week (two posts: 1 hour per day from 4.00) or 10 hours per week (one post: 2 hours per day normally 9:00 -11:00) on average. It is anticipated that these roles are to start in early October 2015.</p> <p>You will be required to upload a supporting statement as part of your online application.
