Graduate Studies Assistant

Applications are invited for a full-time Graduate Studies Assistant in the
Faculty of English Language and Literature. The postholder’s primary role will
be in supporting the Graduate Studies Officer and the Director of Graduate
Studies in all aspects of their work, including admissions and the
administration around current students. The appointee will also form part of
the wider administration team in the Faculty of English and may be asked to
take on a broader range of duties from time to time. The post provides an
excellent opportunity to develop existing administrative skills in an academic
environment.
Applicants should have experience in an administrative role, with good
communication, organisational and IT skills. They should have the ability to
work independently as well as being part of a larger team.
The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on 18 September 2015.
Interviews will be held on 29 September 2015.
