The Department of Computer Science is seeking a well-organised and
enthusiastic individual with administration experience to join the Research
Facilitation team to provide day-to-day support to this growing activity in
the department.

This role will give you the opportunity to manage a portfolio of research
funding applications and learn more about the growing profession of research
administration and management. You will liaise with people at all levels
within the University, including divisional, departmental, and Research
Services staff, promote funding opportunities using a variety of communication
channels, be responsible for organising events and for keeping accurate
records of the team activities.

You will be expected to assist academics and researchers with research grant
applications, and to gain a good understanding of the funding landscape.

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 GCSEs, or the equivalent, at grade C or
above, including Maths and English, have excellent written and numerical
skills, a working knowledge of the MS Office suite and experience of managing
changing priorities.

The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on 7 October 2015. Interviews
are expected to be held in the week ending 16 October 2015.
