An opening for a full-time Postdoctoral Researcher in Multi-Objective Decision Making has arisen in the Department of Computer Science. The aim of this project is to develop new multi-objective decision-making algorithms to aid in the development of socially intelligent telepresence robots. Reporting to Professor Shimon Whiteson, the focus will be on using multi-objective reasoning to integrate multiple sources of implicit feedback from the robot's environment. The research will be conducted as part of a European project called "Telepresence Reinforcement Learning Social Robot (TERESA)", in which the University of Oxford participates and collaborates on with several other European universities and companies. ...
