SITS:Vision Technical Developer

The University’s Student Administration and Services section seeks to appoint
an experienced technical developer to contribute to student systems
development within a world-class university. The University is engaging in a
major capital programme of investment in its systems to support students and
academics. As part of this it is involved in an ongoing programme to move its
student record system and processes to SITS:Vision. This post is offered on a
fixed-term basis for 2 years.



The postholder will be a member of the Student Systems Support Centre team,
reporting to the Lead SITS:Vision Technical Developer. The purpose of this
post is to contribute to the configuration and customisation of the
SITS:Vision solution for the University. S/he will be expected to design and
implement solutions through the SITS e:Vision portal to serve a wide range of
business processes associated with the management and support of student
administration across the collegiate University, contribute to development of
interfaces with other University systems, and to data migration activities
where required. S/he will work as part of a wider team including developers,
analysts and project managers, as well as working with business
representatives and working closely with the business data analyst on data
modelling activities to provide early technical expertise to design
activities.
