An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced service delivery manager
to contribute to the support of student systems within a world-class
university. The University of Oxford is engaging in a major capital programme
of investment in its systems to support students and academics. As part of
this it is involved in a major programme to move its student record system and
associated processes to SITS:Vision.



Student Administration is seeking to recruit a Head of the Student Systems
Support Centre to provide leadership for this business critical area of
activity. The postholder will be accountable for the quality and performance
of the various services within their remit and ensuring that the Support
Centre delivers what it promises in alignment with the business.



The successful applicant will need to possess excellent leadership qualities,
working effectively with colleagues across Oxford as well as influencing key
stakeholders. It will be essential for candidates to be committed to
delivering customer-focussed services to meet the needs of all students and
staff across the collegiate University, through an appreciation of the
academic environment and its challenges.



This post offers an opportunity for someone with excellent service management
experience, strategic leadership qualities, advanced communication and
organisational skills and evidence of previous experience in ICT to make a
significant contribution to the Student Administration and IT Services
Sections.
