Part-time Ian Ramsey Centre Administrator

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><p>The Ian Ramsey Centre at the Faculty of Theology and Religion is seeking to recruit a Centre Administrator.</p><br><p>With a vibrant programme of conferences and seminars, and collaborators all over the world, this newly created role will be busy and varied. Alongside ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the centre, the successful candidate will coordinate events, prepare marketing materials, administer grant-related activities and provide executive personal assistance to the Research Director of the Centre, Dr Andrew Pinsent. The successful candidate will report to Dr Pinsent on a day-to-day basis and will also have a reporting line to the Head of Administration at the faculty. They will be part of a small, friendly administration team and will work closely with colleagues in that team, researchers in the Ian Ramsey Centre and colleagues within and outside of the wider University.</p><br><p>Alongside excellent general administrative skills, the successful candidate will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload will be essential as will proficiency in written and spoken Spanish. Experience of providing high-quality administration support to senior staff will be an advantage, as will experience of event organisation.</p><br><p>This is a part-time post (29.2 hours per week/0.8 FTE) and fixed-term until 31 December 2016 in the first instance with the possibility of extension depending on available funding.</p><br><p>The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on 17 February 2016.</p> </div>
