<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><p>The Bodleian Libraries are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to provide administrative support and facilitation to one or more specified members of the Bodleian Libraries Executive.</p><br><p>You will act as the first point of contact and effectively deal with all incoming correspondence, emails and telephone calls for your executive member. As well as managing diaries and providing administrative support for meetings, you will prepare reports and provide administrative support on financial matters such as expenses and budgets. In addition you will organise visits, conferences and other events including making complex UK and international travel arrangements.</p><br><p>You will have previous senior PA experience and possess excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills. You will have the ability to multi-task and to manage a varied and busy workload, working both independently and as part of a team. Experience of complex diary management and Microsoft Office applications is also essential, as is a flexible approach to work and high standard of literacy and numeracy.</p><br><p>This is a full-time permanent role.</p><br><p>Owing to the nature of this post, candidates will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check as well as a financial background check. The possession of a criminal record or poor financial background will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.</p><br><p>You will be required to upload a supporting statement as part of your online application. Your supporting statement should list each of the essential and desirable selection criteria, as listed in the job description, and explain how you meet each one.
