THIS IS A READVERTISEMENT. PREVIOUS APPLICANTS NEED NOT APPLY.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced technical developer to
contribute to student systems development within a world-class university. The
University of Oxford is engaging in a major capital programme of investment in
its systems to support students and academics. As part of this, it has moved
much of its student record system and associated processes to the SITS:Vision
platform.

We wish to recruit one permanent Lead Developer and are looking for someone
with knowledge and experience of the SITS:Vision platform. You will be
responsible for leading the technical customisation of the SITS:Vision
solution for the University and will have the necessary experience to lead a
team of developers (including contractors). Reporting to the Head of the
Student Systems Support Centre, you will plan, design and implement solutions
primarily through the SITS eVision Web portal to serve business processes
associated with the management and support of student administration across
the collegiate University.

However, if you are an experienced SITS:Vision developer who does not feel
ready to lead a team just yet, but wish to develop your managerial skills,
then we are willing to consider appointment of a suitable candidate on Grade 8
(£38,896 - £46,414 p.a.). In this instance, the candidate appointed would have
the opportunity, along with all our other developers, in applying for the lead
role at a future point in time.

This post offers an excellent opportunity for a senior developer with proven
skills in SITS development to make a significant contribution to improving IT
systems supporting student administration at Oxford.

For an informal discussion about the post please contact Alison Rothera,
Director, Student Systems: alison.rothera@admin.ox.ac.uk.

You will be required to upload a CV and supporting statement as part of your
application.

Applications must be received before 12.00 noon on 21 March 2016. It is
anticipated interviews will be held in the week commencing 4 April 2016.
