An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual with proven experience in
change, release and configuration management, to contribute to the support of
student systems within a world-class university.



Student Administration is seeking to recruit a Change, Release and
Configuration Manager, to work initially in the Student Systems Support
Centre, to ensure that application changes are delivered to the production
environments with minimal impact to the availability of the LIVE service. The
postholder will be accountable for the management and development of processes
to support change, release and configuration management throughout the
application life cycle, ensuring that they align with and support other
University processes.



The successful applicant will have proven experience as a change/release
manger, including the delivery of a sizable enterprise wide application. It
will be essential for candidates to have experience of working in a complex
environment where there is a wide range of parallel and mutually dependent
activities. Thoroughness, with attention to detail and accuracy, will be
important in helping to deliver customer-focussed services to meet the needs
of all students and staff across the collegiate University.



This post offers an opportunity for someone with good software development
lifecycle experience, advanced communication and organisational skills and
evidence of previous experience in ICT to make a significant contribution to
the Student Administration and IT Services Sections.
