The Museum of the History of Science is seeking a dynamic and outward-facing individual to play a key role in devising and communicating the museum’s public programme. The postholder will create and maintain an attractive programme of events, and communicate them to both existing and new audiences.

The successful candidate will be enthused by the museum and its collections, and able to share that enthusiasm at different levels. Working directly with multiple publics and also in collaboration across the University, s/he will require skills in both print and digital, and in multiple channels from press to social media.

A flexible approach to work is required to assist with occasional evening events, and excellent time management and people skills.

This is a part-time (0.5 FTE) post fixed-term until March 2018 in the first instance, limited by current funding from Arts Council England through the Oxford University Museums Partnership.
