The University of Oxford is a complex and stimulating organisation which enjoys an international reputation as a world-class centre of excellence in research and teaching.

The FM Helpdesk team comprises of three Support Assistants who report to the FM Helpdesk Manager. The team act as central point of contact for Estates Services and all facilities-related requests, for example: Booking meeting rooms and hospitality, arranging engineer visits, producing reports, monitoring order progress from start to finish, liaising with customers and processing requests for card access and travel passes. The Helpdesk team are part of a wider group called the Central FM Services.

The FM Helpdesk is a busy and varied working environment; the successful candidate must be able to manage their own workload responsibly and plan their time to ensure that routine and responsive activities are completed by deadlines and within our SLA. We are looking for somebody with the drive and ambition to make a positive difference in the team; we value development and are committed to continuously improving the service we offer to our customers.

The successful candidate will be computer literate at a moderate/advanced level and be confident in working with a variety of systems and with different technology. The postholder will be responsible for managing customer relationships effectively and professionally - it is essential that applicants should be skilled, confident communicators.

We are looking for somebody who is adaptable, positive, enjoys working in a changing environment and strives for improvement. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role; enhanced skills in MS Excel would be highly advantageous.
