<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><p>The Faculty of Theology and Religion is seeking a Departmental Lecturer to play an active role in the teaching of existing undergraduate and graduate courses on Islam and Theories and Methods in the Study of Religion. The appointee will become part of a vibrant research environment and work closely with the Study of Religions group within the Faculty. The successful candidate will also be attached to Pembroke College.</p><br><p>This is a fixed-term post available for 18 months from the 1 October 2016.</p><br><p>The successful candidate will hold a postgraduate qualification (which would normally be a doctorate) in a relevant field of research. They will have a publication record along with aptitude for, and experience of, teaching. The appointee will demonstrate a readiness to collaborate with colleagues within and outside the College and University and will possess excellent organisation skills.</p><br><p>Applications should be made online and only those applications received by 12.00 noon on 22 June 2016 can be considered.
