<p></p><p>The Bodleian Libraries HR team is looking for an HR Administrator to join its personnel section. Working closely with another HR Administrator and the Recruitment Team Leader, the main focus of the role is recruitment and involves regular communication with line managers.</p><br><p>You will be responsible for the recruitment process for your posts, from the initial advertising stage through to preparing interview packs, offer letters, carrying out pre-employment checks and issuing contracts. You will also carry out induction sessions for new starters and deal with the related payroll paperwork using the University’s HR and payroll system. Comfortable working to strict deadlines, you will ensure the recruitment process operates in a smooth and timely manner.</p><br><p>To be successful in this role it is essential that you have proven administrative, planning and organisational skills. You will also have good customer care skills and be able to work well as part of a team and alone.</p><br><p>You will have the ability to carry out delicate personnel related tasks confidentially and with discretion. You will have good keyboard skills and be proficient in the use of computer packages, ideally Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. You should also be able to demonstrate good numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy.</p><br><p>This is a permanent, full-time post.</p><br><p>Owing to the nature of this post, candidates will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check as well as a financial background check. The possession of a criminal record or poor financial background will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.</p><br><p>This post is part of a pilot scheme testing a new supporting evidence form in place of the more usual ‘supporting statement’.
