<p></p><p>The Humanities Division is seeking a full-time Project Support Coordinator until 31 August 2020 (fixed-term) to provide administrative and finance support for three major European Research Council projects. The successful applicant will work closely with the Principal Investigators of each grant, Professor Andy Orchard, Dr Judith McKenzie and Professor Karl Kügle, and will contribute significantly to the successful management of the division’s large externally funded research portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a career in university administration and to be involved with researchers at the cutting edge of their fields of study.</p><br><p>The appointee will ensure that the projects are run efficiently and effectively, in liaison with the academic leads, team members, and faculty Heads of Administration and Finance. You will also play a key role in organising the projects’ varied research and public engagement activities and will be the first point of contact for all external and internal enquiries.</p><br><p>The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a high degree of pro-activity, flexibility, and self-motivation and be able to trouble-shoot problems. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an understanding of research in the Humanities combined with the ability to develop and continually improve processes and a capacity to prioritise varied, complex and competing demands in a busy working environment.</p><br><p>Informal enquiries are welcome, and should be made to Louise Botley, Humanities Research Support Manager (<a rel="nofollow" href="mailto:louise.botley@humanities.ox.ac.uk">louise.botley@humanities.ox.ac.uk</a>).</p><br><p>Applications must be made online.</p><br><p>The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on Friday 2 September 2016.
