We are seeking an efficient administrator for 2 days (or 14.6 hours per week)
within the HR team focusing on recruitment administration in the Department of
Computer Science. This post arises because of a 2 day per week/12 month
secondment of an existing member of the team and this post offers an excellent
opportunity to gain employment experience within the area of Human Resources
within a fast-paced department within a large and complex organisation.
The role will predominantly involve administration and co-ordination of the
end-to-end recruitment process, from advertising, answering queries, servicing
recruitment panels, liaising with interview candidates, and ensuring
compliance with University policies and employment law, including the Equality
and Data Protection Acts.
We are seeking an individual with previous experience of working in a role
which involves the accurate and efficient administration of high volume work
processes. You will need excellent customer service, team-working, and
organisational skills, the ability to communicate effectively and accurately,
and proficient IT skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Additionally,
you will have an efficient, flexible, and proactive approach to work, with a
particular interest in recruitment.
Previous recruitment administration experience, experience of using Core HRIS,
and working in Higher Education is highly desirable, as is a relevant HR
qualification, such as the CIPD level 3 Diploma in HR Practice.
