<p></p><p>TORCH seeks to appoint a Communications and Events Officer to support the activities of TORCH by supporting Humanities researchers and research. This is a varied role combining event and communications organisation, with a range of administrative duties in which you will work closely with other members of the TORCH and Humanities team, as well as directly with researchers.</p><br><p>You will have a good standard of education, proven events, communications and administrative skills, and previous experience in large event organisation. You will have excellent inter-personal skills, be self-motivated and possess good written and oral communications skills.</p><br><p>This is a full-time post, fixed-term to 31 July 2018.</p><br><p>You will be required to upload a supporting statement as part of your online application.</p><br><p>The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on Monday 12 September 2016. Interviews will be held during the week starting 26 September 2016.</p>
