HR Administrator
Applications for this vacancy closed on 28 September 2016 at 12:00PM
We are seeking an enthusiastic HR Administrator to join our team within the
Personnel department of the University Administration and Services (UAS) which
provides a comprehensive HR operational service (recruitment, payroll and
employment administration) across all central UAS departments. We are looking
for both full time and part time positions and can be flexible with working
hours.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain HR experience in a complex and
dynamic organisation. You should have excellent organisational skills, the
ability to communicate effectively and well developed IT skills. The
postholder will use the University’s HR Information System (CoreHR) to manage
high volume recruitment and payroll activity across UAS, and will carry out
the necessary activities listed in the job description.
Ideally you will have previous HR / administrative experience or transferrable
skills, preferably gained within higher education and you will certainly be
able to work in a busy office environment to strict deadlines. The ability to
handle confidential information sensitively is essential. Previous experience
of using an automated HR system would be an advantage although full training
will be provided.
This post is part of a pilot scheme testing a new Supporting Evidence form in
place of the more usual ‘supporting statement’. Please ensure that you
carefully read the ‘How to Apply’ section provided in the Job Description,
which you can download below, along with the required Supporting Evidence
form.
The closing date for applications is 12:00 noon on Wednesday 28 September
