Applications for this vacancy closed on 7 November 2016 at 12:00PM
We seek an experienced Projects Communications Officer to work on the
prestigious Education IT Programme
(www.admin.ox.ac.uk/aad/studentsystems/programme/), providing the programme
and its various project teams with expert skills, recommendations and advice
on communications. This is a challenging and rewarding role, working at the
heart of the Number One ranked University in the world (Times Higher Education
World University Rankings 2016-2017).

The Projects Communications Officer will develop and implement communications
plans to support projects delivering new systems and related business changes.
You will have experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously and
effectively, and will need to be able to retrieve and assimilate new
information quickly. You will develop high quality content and materials for
non-specialist audiences through multiple communications channels and will be
able to think strategically about how to most effectively communicate business
changes to end-users of the new systems. The ability to work independently and
pro-actively to engage a wide range of (senior) stakeholders across the
University is key.

We are looking for an individual with experience in project communications
within a large complex organisation with many stakeholder groups. You should
have an interest in the business of higher education and an interest in new
technologies.

The Projects Communications Officer reports to the Business Change Manager on
the Education IT Programme. For an informal discussion about the role, please
contact Nicole van Hemert (tel: 01865 289868) or Sara Passmore (tel: 01865
284842).

This is a full-time, fixed-term post for 24 months.

The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on 7 November 2016. Interviews
will be held on Tuesday 22 November 2016.
