<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><p>We are recruiting for a KTP Associate - Trusted Cloud for a 6 month post to replace an outgoing member of staff who has implemented the first 3 of 6 phases with the project, some of these may need revisiting depending on the choices of other phases as they are further developed.</p><br><p>The partnership combines the complementary strengths of the Centre 100 Percent IT to develop novel technology that has strong potential for commercial impact. The anticipated change in the trust relationship in public cloud should open up the market for 100 Percent IT to supply a range of users who would previously only have considered private cloud to be secure and trusted enough for their needs. Technology developed during the KTP will be put forward for auditing by a third party such as CESG after the project concludes, to certify the security of the system and render it more commercially attractive to a wider market.</p><br><p>The job will entail:</p><br><ul><br><li>strategy and full business model analysis to give information on the market sectors that are specifically enabled by this activity;</li><br><li>develop a detailed list of technical requirements for hardware and software that meet the strategic requirements developed in Phase 1;</li><br><li>iteratively develop the Trusted Cloud platform to include features specified in phase 1 which may include encryption key storage and management, attestation, encryption of disk volume data, encryption of memory and encryption of network traffic. Implement suitable unit and integration tests to prevent later regressions when integrating systems. Fully document software developed;</li><br><li>integrate the prototype verification software developed in phase 3 with existing OpenStack production cloud computing platform;</li><br><li>gain external verification and audit of the developed code&#8217;s security features from an organisation such as NCSC if a need for this was identified in phase 1;</li><br><li>move early adopters into production and use them as case studies to conduct business specific demonstrations with potential customers.</li><br></ul><br><p>The postholder will be based at the offices of 100PercentIT in Newbury.</p><br><p>The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on 5 January 2017.</p> </div>
