<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><p>The Faculty are seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to pursue an independent research programme on novels published in French between 1800 and 1810. This will involve extensive bibliographical research and work in several libraries. It will lead to the production of the necessary data for a bibliography of the French novel from 1801 onwards. The appointee will undertake research, and will be expected to participate actively in the Faculty&#8217;s research environment including the Faculty&#8217;s research seminars, and to give no more than 16 lectures on an area of French literature.</p><br> <p>Applicants must possess an undergraduate degree and Master's degree in French; and have submitted a DPhil/PhD thesis by 1 August 2017.
