Applications are invited for a full-time Research Facilitator post in the
Humanities Division. Humanities research facilitators act as the first point
of contact for all external funding applications, working with researchers
from early career researchers to senior faculty and professors. The postholder
will contribute fully to the ongoing development of the Humanities Division's
support for academic research, focusing on developing the highest quality
external funding applications. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a
career in university administration and to be involved with researchers at the
cutting edge of their fields of study.
You will be educated beyond first degree level, preferably with a doctorate
(or equivalent experience), and have experience of research and administration
in a higher education environment. You will need excellent communication and
interpersonal skills, and an understanding of research in the humanities,
combined with excellent administrative abilities and a capacity to prioritise
complex and competing demands in a busy working environment.
