<p>As Senior Development Executive, your focus will be on major gifts, working as part of the Humanities Development team. You will work closely with senior members of the Humanities Division to clearly articulate and deliver funding against strategic objectives, from the endowment of academic positions, to scholarships, capital and research projects, ranging from Plato to Popular Music, and from French to the Future of Humanity.</p><br>
<p>To be successful in this role you will be an experienced development professional with a track record of securing major gifts, and a confident approach to achieving ambitious targets. You possess diplomacy, creativity and outstanding communication skills, as well as the ability to operate comfortably in a large, complex institution. You have the credibility and confidence to influence at the highest level, and a collaborative and flexible working style. A graduate or equivalent with an interest in culture and the arts, you have the ability to engage others in Oxford’s goals, and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.</p><br>
<p>While this is a Grade 8 position, we may consider candidates with potential but less experience who are seeking a development opportunity, for which an initial appointment would be at Grade 7 (£31,076 - £38,183 p.a.) with the responsibilities adjusted accordingly.</p><br>
