The site is popular on social media, and we know from feedback we&#8217;ve received that our material is frequently used in teaching and lectures.</p><br> <p>The Editorial Assistant and Research Administrator will support Our World in Data in two key areas. By using your editorial skills, you will ensure the content produced by the team continues to meet high standards for both content and clarity. You will also contribute by summarising research literature way that is understandable to a non-specialist audience.</p><br> <p>As a research administrator, the successful applicant will support the Director of the programme in preparing progress reports to the project funder and in corresponding with external collaborators and interested external parties. You will also be responsible for presenting the project on social media.</p><br> <p>This is a part-time post 0.8FTE (4 days per week) and is fixed-term to November 2017.</p><br> <p>It is hoped the successful candidate will start work as soon as possible.</p><br> <p>The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on Wednesday 30 August 2017.</p><br> <p>Please note that the University of Oxford's retirement policy is changing. With effect from 1 October 2017, all employees at Grade 8 and above will have a retirement age of 68, and all employees at Grades 6 and 7 will no longer have a set retirement age.
