<p></p><p>The Humanities Division is seeking to appoint a candidate to the new, 2-year, fixed term role of Humanities Equality and Diversity Officer as part of the Division’s Personnel team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Humanities Division to develop and implement policies and strategies in all areas of equality and diversity in relation to staff and students. You will play a key role in supporting faculties in applying for Athena SWAN awards, working closely with faculty academic and administrative staff.</p><br>
<p>You are likely to be a specialist in E and D issues with some experience in broader HR, general administration and project management. You will have outstanding organisational, interpersonal and communication abilities, along with strong analytical and report-writing skills, and a capacity to prioritise complex and competing demands in a busy working environment.</p><br>

<p>The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on Tuesday 29 August 2017. You will be required to upload a CV and supporting statement as part of your application.</p><br>
<p>Please note that the University of Oxford's retirement policy is changing. With effect from October 1 2017, all employees at Grade 8 and above will have a retirement age of 68, and all employees at Grades 6 and 7 will no longer have a set retirement age.
