<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><p>The faculty are seeking to appoint a Departmental Lecturer in Russian from 1 January 2018 to 30 September 2020. This post is to support Professor Phillip Bullock while he takes on the Directorship of The Oxford Research Centre for the Humanities (TORCH). The post will involve advanced teaching and academic research in Russian.</p><br> <p>Applicants must possess exceptional fluency in Russian and evidence of the ability to teach undergraduate (and graduate) students across a range of topics in modern Russian literature at the highest level in the medium of English, whether through lectures, seminars or tutorials. They should possess a good undergraduate degree in Russian and a PhD or DPhil in Russian (or be due to submit their PhD/DPhil thesis by 1 December 2017 at the latest).</p><br> <p>Additional information and details about how to apply are included in the further particulars which are available below.</p><br> <p>This is a part-time post (0.75 FTE).</p><br> <p>The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on 2 November 2017.</p><br> <p>Please note that the University of Oxford's retirement policy is changing. With effect from October 1 2017, all employees at Grade 8 and above will have a retirement age of 68, and all employees at Grades 6 and 7 will no longer have a set retirement age.
