<p></p><p>The Sample Handling Laboratory in the Cancer and Haematology Centre, Churchill Hospital, Oxford processes patient samples from cancer clinical trials. The role of the postholder is to take receipt of and process clinical samples according to defined laboratory protocols. This will involve several techniques including centrifugation of blood samples, separation of plasma/serum and also of white cells for analysis at other laboratories.</p><br>
<p>Applicants should be educated to A-level standard or equivalent and have good manual dexterity, accuracy and laboratory experience. An ability to communicate well both written and verbally and to work within a team are essential. Some flexible working will be required. Experience of working in a regulatory environment will be an advantage but specific in-house training will be provided.</p><br>
<p>This is a full-time post and is available for 1 year in the first instance.</p><br>
